Several Search Sites use Inktomi
  • You don't search Inktomi on its own web site. Instead, Inktomi license its Search Engine and database of downloaded web pages and other files to several search sites and portals, including Hotbot and the Microsoft Network (MSN).
  • Yahoo bought it in 2003.
Teoma

  • About 1.5 billion welb pages.
  • Divides retrieved web pages into folder categories.

  • Claims over 1.4 billion Web pages and files.
